I’m loving this model. Even though I got this for my collection, I feel that this would be really good for kids, the plastic being bendable enough to flap it’s wings. I wouldn’t call the toy itself educational for kids: most children know what a pterodactyl looks like and the fact file that comes with the packaging is chines. Fortunately everything dinosaur provides it’s own fact file for the animal, so you can read that instead.
The paint-job is the same quality as the promotional pictures. The only downside to this model is that it’s very small. That’s a given for the series, but along with how flat it is, it’s hard to see on a shelf. Over all, I’m very happy and I’ll probably get some more from this series in the future.
