A lovely, low-cost representation of this smaller and a rarely offered relation of Iguanodon. Highly detailed for such a small figure, although most of the detail is hypothesized as I believe only a skull is known as the species holotype. The scale may be closer to 1:32, so it could work well with other figures in the popular 1:35 scale.
I also like this figure because you could use it as a reasonably convincing infant Iguanodon alongside a larger parent figure. The eyes are too small to fully complete the illusion of an infant, but if a family group diorama takes your fancy, this little figure offers a great value option to have a nice clutch of youngsters. The existing paint is neutral enough for juveniles, but they could also easily be repainted.
NB. You could also try this low-cost infant ornithopod family group approach with several of the other small CollectA Prehistoric Life / Age of Dinosaurs figures, such as Brighstoneous, Hadrosaurus, Kamuysaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, or Mantellisaurus. For example, Kamuysaurus could make quite a convincing infant Edmontosaurus alongside any of the larger adult Edmontosaurus options.
Enjoy your dinosaur figures!!

It’s a really lovely figure. Small, yes, but perfect in every way. There is a lot of detail to enjoy. I love the way the skin folds are depicted around its legs and belly. The pose is nicely dynamic without being overdone. It has plenty of life in it, which encourages you to think of a story and setting in which it is living. It looks slightly surprised but not alarmed. I can imagine it has just lifted its head after a long drink at a river. Or maybe a slight noise has disturbed it while grazing. It’s carefully painted, despite the small size: each claw is carefully done, as are the head with the inside of its mouth and its beak. I like the conservative colour scheme. And being small, it’s easy to find a space for it on my crowded shelves!

I decided to buy this dinosaur because i have not got many figures from this suborder. To be honest for a deluxe figure it is small. It is a well made figure with nice colouring and a nice pose. I will get the fukiraptor as well in the near future to keep it company. Its good collecta are doing not so well known dinosaurs as well. Its just a shame its not bigger. Top service from everything dinosaur.
