The smallest member of the Botm Ceratops series, but for me it’s almost on par with its larger cousins in the series. It doesn’t necessarily match the appearance of the skeletal material (the head in particular), but the quality of the model itself is high. The coat pattern on the figure is eye-catching, one of the better coats in the entire series in my opinion. Great range of articulation, I have a lot of fun posing it. As a Ceratops fan, I highly recommend this figure to other collectors.

The high quality of this model far exceeded my already high expectations. It’s an absolute delight. The paint is very carefully applied; the earthy colours work perfectly. The splashes of orange on the frill and face are perfect to suggest display to another Zuniceratops. The tail comes separately but is very easy to fit – just follow the instructions for softening the plastic with hot water! The articulations are a little stiff at first but that’s exactly how it should be. Too loose would be a problem! A few minutes patient and cautious movement soon had my model ready to pose. Currently he’s head down and to one side, charging along with one leg off the ground and tail raised, ready to toss his rival or a theropod trying to make him into dinner up in the air. He’s extremely stable on three legs. So hours of fun ahead! The packaging is sturdy, of excellent quality and with a lovely piece of artwork featuring the Zuniceratops, plus there’s a nice collector’s card inside the box. He could also display nicely with the pull-out cardboard printed with a forest scene. Add to all this an exceedingly high level of accuracy to the fossil record – and it’s always good to have an animal rarely made into a model or toy. It would make the perfect Christmas or birthday present for a teenager or adult collector.
